I know Jenny doesn't like me to do this, and sometimes I even feel badly after it, but right now I must complain to you all, otherwise all my built up rage and frustration may end in the destruction of an innocent glass object, or something else that can easily be broken ( Read more... )

I think she was right. I threw my roommates wet wash cloth on her bed cuz she couldn't wring it out. You're going to take the trash out from now on I bet.

I was away in Kirkland for two days, and before that, when the trash can wasn't very full yet, I was gone in Kirkland for two days again! Perhaps if I had left it overflowing when I went away it would have been one thing... But it wasn't overflowing. Which means that Jenny and Dane are mean!

All right, I'll give you that. I don't think they're mean but it wasn't reasonable for them to really do that

She should've placed it outside your door, not in the room, especially if it was so smelly. But just telling you probably would've made it a lot less troublesome...

Here's my theory: They think the garbage should be taken out when it is almost full, and you think it should be taken out when it is overflowing to the max. They may have overreacted because they are tired of having more garbage inside than they think there should be, and they put it in your room because they were using the "natural consequences" method of behavior modification that they learned in their psychology class. They were probably planning to do that the next time the garbage got too full and then didn't think about how you hadn't been there to take it out, or maybe they did it right after you left and didn't know you would be gone for so long. Come home to mama Karen and you will only have to take it out once a week.

Hey, it's only overflowed once! Once!!! Fine, from now on I'll move their mess into their bedroom. Perhaps that'll teach them to not be such slobs. And slobs they are! There's always a mess out in the living room because of them.
