Moving to New York

Well I'm moving again. This time to Schoharie, NY. I made a promise to my wife that we would live in New York for a couple years to give it a try. Plus she wants to have her baby over there where her family is. Two years in New York should give me some good social work experience. Then I will come back to Washington (unless I like it there). Wow! Exciting news!

I would plan on 4-5 days, especially if you're by yourself. We had figured four days in the moving truck (Clint being the only driver), and it ended up taking us five.

Also, totally come visit me on the way if you can! The apartment isn't spectacular, but you're welcome to partake of the futon and/or shower if you like. It'd be good to see you. =)

I may just come see you. Not sure though, depends on if I want to get the traveling over with. Good news is that I'll be living a lot closer to you, so once I get situated I can drive over for a weekend or something.

I totally understand if you want to just keep driving - just know that it's a standing offer, in case you need to rest or just want to break up the drive a little bit. If you give me your e-mail address, I'll send you my home and cell numbers. I'll be teaching in the mornings, but should be somewhat flexible from about noon on if you decide to drop by.

And yes - we will definitely get together while you're on this side of the continent. =) Clint and I really, really want to take a trip if finances and schedules will allow it. Maybe we'll rendezvous in PA and hang with the Amish. Haha.

Hehe No baby yet. I'm actually fixed so cannot produce more children, but Ann wants one. May try to get un-fixed or some other procedure to get Ann pregnant, but she wants her mother around to see the birth.

Of course we'll visit you! I hear driving from Albany to New York is like driving from Spokane to Seattle. Accept for the tolls of course =)

Yeah, I just talked to Ann. She reminded me that y'all will be back for Bobby and Steph's wedding too. That's not so far off.
