Immortality

Jul 15, 2008 06:34

I'd just like to say that, given the process of technology, all of us just might live forever. It just seems hard to wrap my mind around that.

Maybe we should plan a reunion 100 years from now. We'll meet at the Moon's main transfer hub. Cya then.

never gonna happen in our lifetime. scientific advances always are much slower to develop then speculated. not to say that it will never happen though. ill bet you a million dollars neither us or our children will see this "immortality" become a reality.

I dunno. Even if people did become immortal in our lifetime, it may be only available to the rich, and what about population density? Maybe you could choose between immortality and having the ability to reproduce.

They call that suicide and most people frown on it.

In a society where you can live forever I believe that social stigma would be reevaluated.
