Hey, I never noticed it could break up that way! (She's only had a journal for several years now...I'm a bit slow on the uptake).

Her name, Xanthe, translates as "blond" in Greek...I'm almost the only person I know who'd name a black cat "blond" (but not quite...our friend Will seems to have a similar sense of humor).

And she *adores* scratches, especially on the cheeks.
