italics - listen on the radio/other ppls cdcs and dont mind but wouldnt buy the album

i remeber shannon from cockatoo on JJJ breakfast liked them, and thats how i found out abt em, then my bf went and saw them play and made friends with them!

Yes. Not a lot of their music. I'm a big fan of The Used though. I love them. :)

Okay.

x Brand New and Thursday are punkish, emoish.
x Bright Eyes very emo, has a unique sound that many don't like.
x AFI - cross between punk and goth.
x Phantom Planet are cool. You would've heard their song 'California' - the theme to the OC.
x Sugarcult are an awesome pop/punkish band from US. Check out their song 'Bouncing Off the Walls'. It rocks!
x Death Cab For Cutie are pretty indie. Cool though. Good chilling out music.
x The Mars Volta - brilliance. Although I'm not usre if you will like. They are pretty alternative.
x Interpol - hard to describe but check out their song 'Evil'.

And I can't be bothered about the rest. Haha.
I've heard HIM are really good, but haven't listened to any of their stuff. What are they like? They seem kinda goth.
