The Christian faith can be broken down into a few main branches. Originally, the big ones were the Catholics and the Orthodox (Greek, Russian, etc.). The Protestants broke from the Catholics, as we know, and formed the Lutherans, Presbyterians, Baptists, etc., etc., etc. Also in parts of Africa--mostly in Egypt and Ethiopia, there is another branch, descended from the Coptic churches of very early in the faith. Finally, you have the crazy branches like the Seventh-Day Adventists, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, and others. generally, the Catholic and Protestant (including the crazies) can be referred to as the Western faith. Almost all of the sub-branches of the West use the Lord's Prayer--all of the protestant sects that I am familiar with use it, as do the Catholics. Quite probably, though I don't actually know, the Orthodox churches do, to. Hence, most of Christendom.
Dude my comment was not an invite for a lesson but merely an effort to point out to you that you sued a broad term to criticism a smaller unit... ie i sensed some intellectual dishonesty, intentional of not, and was merely attempting to insert clarification
I had typed it all out, and then realized that it sounded like I thought you didn't know what I was talking about, but then I was too lazy to delete it.
