Jujitsu Maximum Annoyance

I just discovered that the swine who stole my ipod also stole the power cable for my hard drive - thus while I have a spare ipod, I do not have access to my music to fill it. Also, last night I watched the 23rd episode of the first season of 24. Guess where the final ep is ( Read more... )

I have a Sony Walkman MP3 player. It suffices for my purposes (allowing me to have music at a moment's notice), and runs off AAA batteries. Sound quality is ok, but tbh, nothing short of lugging around a full stereo is going to give me what I'd consider "high-qualty" music on the go.

The only drawback is the nightmare that is SonicStage, the software package needed to upload things to the kit. It's clunky as all hell, and has often induced fits of fury.

My Mam's Sony MP3 player has been a bit of a nightmare.

It has an internal battery & some genius decided it was a good idea to stop it drawing power as soon as the battery was full but not have it shut off.

In other words - leave it plugged in too long & you end up with a dead battery again.

If you're buying a new MP3 player - I'd suggest a creative or a cowen.

I used to use the same MP3 player as Target, until it broke and Sonic Stage drove me crazy.

I've had a creative for the last two months and it's been a dream by comparison. Fast, durable, bags of memory.
