Oh, that was lovely. Loved that Merlin wouldn't just take the money as a gift but that he had to earn it somehow. Loved that Gwaine was telling Arthur about what was going on so that Arthur wouldn't get the wrong idea. Great job.

I was a little worried that it would come across kind of dub-con-ish, but as you say, there is no way Merlin would just take the money - and Gwaine (in love with Merlin though he might be ¬_¬) wouldn't let Arthur get all twisted up about it. :D I had lots of fun writing it, I'm really glad you liked it!
