hooray, even better. the people i sat and chatted with (so as per usual we all sat around and talked about our work gripes) found themselves fit to go talk to my boss behind my back and tell him that i hate doing the extra work they dumped on me (without giving me a raise) at the end of last year, and that i was complaining about my work load. so ( Read more... )

they're not the nicest people, no. i can't understand why anyone does that kind of thing! i would never go and repeat a private conversation to someone's boss! the thing that bothers me the most is that everyone else sitting there was having a bit of a whine too, so it was double backstabby! i want to confront them, but i can't be sure who exactly said anything...i intend on getting a new job as soon as i get back from overseas, but that could still take months.

i'm a data manager for a software company. i make sure that information that we provide for customers is always up to date and correct and wont break their systems. it's not the most thrilling job, but i'm pretty good at it, and i'm a bit of a organisational freak, so i don't find it very hard. it's kind of like being an online filing clerk, or an internet librarian!
