Have you ever wondered that your dreams may be fortelling your future? Dreams are weird; they take you into another world where everything you do is 'free'. Your worst nightmares, you happy times, your emotional moments, they are all in your dreams. I barely remember what my dreams are, but I know I have them. Well - It is an interesting idea - very thought provoking... However, there are dreams that people remember - and I am willing to bet that if you asked someone on their death bed, they could remember at least one dream they had in their life time that did not really happen. I guess if what you are saying is that occasionally a dream may come true, then sure - you do dream your future. I would attribute that more to your dream showing a preexisting desire which you will work toward regardless of if it is in a dream. You also have the law of very large numbers at work here. They say people dream several different dreams each night. If someone dreams 3 dreams a night, every night, the law of very large numbers would require a small number of them to actually come true. Many dreams are very vague - you leave with a general picture and a few details - period. Dreams have only a very general sense of time and date, provided that time and date is not a focal point of the dream. Even location can seem to change. This vagueness lends itself ( ... )

btw - seeing my previous post clearly wasn't long enough... ever see the movie "Minority Report"? The whole premise is based off of 3 individuals that dream the future... that sorta exactly matches your topic. :)
