yeah, i don't know how i feel about that one. i really like the idea of the topic, especially related to criminals because that's one argument that hasn't been severely beaten to death in the media yet. i'm kind of wary just because of how sick of it everyone is, and i don't want to be trite.. we'll see though. thanks for the input!
#3 is very prevalent in the media and at the forefront of people's minds right now, but I think that #1 is something that I'd be more likely to read - it's a much more universal issue. The number of people of some sort of mood balancing medication keeps on growing, and health care is becoming more and more difficult to afford. The issue is ready to explode, and it would be cool to have some scholarship on this emergent issue - so often I read papers on things about which idealogical lines are already very firmly drawn. Let us know what you pick, and what you end up saying....
i think #2 is the most appealing to me. #3 would be fairly easy considering the shiavo case & current events. but because of this damn case im over the whole issue. i dont really want to read another thing about vegetables & whether or not they have rights blah blah.
i mean i certainly have an opinion (& probably an offensive one at that), but its too...too present i guess. id say #2 seems interesting. id read a paper about it for sure.
