i went to see jimmy eat world once.
but they totally didn't show up! so saves the day took their place and got booed offstage. i felt really terrible for them. that is so disrespectful and hurtful. i don't care if saves the day stunk--which they did. plus i felt bad because the boy next to me really liked them, and he seemed sad when everyone was rude.

Why didn't they show up?

Some people were throwing glasses (plastic pint glasses) at the band and into the audience and I felt like kicking them in the jaw. It's so needless and stupid.

They just finished their European tour so they'll be back in the states soon. The rest is up to you.

Yeah.
The last time they were here I found out like two or three days before the show. I don't go to shows by myself and the only person here that could go with me couldn't go. Bleh. Plus it was on a work night and I didn't want to have to ask for the night off on that short of notice -shakes fist-

Gotta pay attention and do these things in advance. I've only ever been to a show alone once and that was only because my friend decided not to book the tickets and it sold out and I travelled three hours to get to his town and there was only one ticket for sale from the whole crowd outside.
