Selfdiscovery is often a painful process because we never know how we are supposed to react to it. Most of the time, we find out something that we find revolting because we have been taught so. Then, to our surprise, we discover that it isn't revolting and that society, those who taught that thing to us, have perveted it, turned into something it was never supposed to be.

You are brilliant. Your insights, your ability to capture it succinctly and poignantly, your grasp of what you know is right- amazing!
