I don’t post about much stuff like this anymore.  I know formula kills babies.  Most of my friends know that formula kills babies.  I don’t need to go on about it anymore ( Read more... )

It's really sad. I think this case ought to get a lot more publicity here in the US than it has; the only places I've seen it were in personal LJs or the breastfeeding comm, where most people are already avoiding formula. It needs to be all over the news.

Yeah that's why I decided to go ahead and post it, even though I don't usually post things like that anymore. Hopefully if *enough* bloggers and communitites post it, the mainsteam media will pick it up.

Sad that it happened at all and even worse that the courts are not doing anything to enforce it. Nestle should have to pay DEARLY for that.

You would think they would have better QC on stuff like that, especially a food product for BABIES.

Of course this doesn't affect us since we are on the boob.

It really is a terrible tragedy and I feel for these parents. If parents were truly informed of the dangers of formula, then I don't see how they would even let it in their home. It disgusts me that our culture is so brainwashed into thinking that formula is a perfectally acceptable substitute for breastmilk.
