I'm not a social idiot by any means. Some people may consider me a social idiot because I avoid large parties, groups, and so forth because I don't "know how to interact with people." It's probably a mixture of both. ;)

I too, have the tendency to avoid large social situations and it's because I find them pointless as well as intimidating. [It really a huge hamper on my social life. Heh.]

That being said, when I do get some sort of attention from the opposite sex I'm usually pretty dumbfounded because I've gotten so used to blending in and/or not paying attention to that sort of stuff.

I think it's definitely a self confidence issue for me. Something I should work on....eventually.

Ha, you're probably right. Yeah, I'm pretty dumbfounded as well. I kind of just sit there, shake my head, rub my eyes, and mutter "what the hell just happened?"

meh...

Hard to tell if I'm interested in her because she's interested in me or if I like her. I was mostly in shock because I hadn't noticed her all semester. Regardless, I leave soon so it's not worth getting involved at the moment. argh.
