We got a new futon couch last night. Mom and dad say it isn't ours, but we all know it is! Grandma and Grandpa (dads parents) brought it over and took away the old couch that I "destroyed" with my claws. Hee Hee! This one is nice, dad got it for free from a friend and they have 4 cats. I want a futon! The 'rents were thinking about getting one this year, but decided that it wouldn't be strong enough or roomy enough for their purposes. *pouts*

Oh that's too bad, futons are nice. My parents got this one for free and couldn't pass it up. They did all kinds of wood stuff on it to make it match the other furniture. I wrecked the old couch by scratching it and wetting on it to much when I was younger. I'm sure you guys have lots of comfy places to sleep though, even without a futon.

We do. They had these big baskets on sale, four for a dollar, so we have four of those around the house, plus super huge baskets scattered around, too. :)

Speaking of insults, my next door neighbor asked if I was a dog. Hello? Do I look like a dog? Do I sound like a dog? I mean, how many dogs meow?

Oh, and once, someone thought I was a skunk.

At least no one mistakes you for that.

Ouch, that was low calling you a dog and then a skunk! You are much too sophisticated to be something like that. I would have hissed at those people.

Nope, dad already said you can't go on it if you come visit out here! Mom said oh this would be great for Auntie Beth to sleepies on when she comes to visit us. I won't repeat what dad-dad said about you, but it wasn't very nice!

Also, mom found this ruler under the old couch. It had stuff written on it in your handwriting about MIDI! What is the story there? I see I'm not the only one you have gone after.

Well my mom and dad say the futon is not really mine, but we all know how that is! It's like your moms and your chair, they eventually learned to call it your chair. I love the futon, it's so comfy and there is lots of room for mom and I to cuddle on it.
