Hey, I need help guys. I little behind the times on lj, so I need help with something. Can someone tell me how I create the "friends only" page that a user sees when they are trying to look at my journal. Its the page where people ask to be added to your journal, I dont think mines is set up properly.

Hey Eb!
1. You make/create a post.. that says 'friends only'... and set the date to another year.. like 2010...so it will always stay at the top [make it public so everyone can see it and will be able to comment to be added.

2. Each time you make a new post select to make it friends only [drop ddown menua t the bottom of the create post frame]. A little lock symbol will come up to let you know only friends can see it. You have to make each new entry friends only if you want only certain people to see it [you can even filter within your select friends group].

3. If you want old entries to be friends only you have to go back and [edit] make each one friends only. Let me know if you have any questions.

I just noticed you allready have the lock on your entries (set to friends only).. so just make the post I talked about in step number 1.. set the date for the future (2010) and it'll be what will be seen by the public.
