Tinker v. Des Moines

Today in Juvenile Law, we talked about Tinker v. Des Moines where we discussed that high school students in 1969 wore black arm bands to protest a war.

It made me think of some students I knew who wore black armbands to protest the start of this current war (and at the time the concept pf protesting this very popular war was unpatriotic ( Read more... )

I remember that! I remember my AP American History teacher (Peterson) made me explain why I was wearing it to the whole class...
