I saw Fulltime Killer, Elephant, and Last Days in the last three days. I highly recommend the first to anyone who likes Hong Kong action flicks, and the other two to anyone with a largish attention span ( Read more... )

Kristen Hicks was in Elephant. We watched it as a program last year, and it was disappointing. The defining moment came after the end credits began to roll, when somebody in the audience (I think it was Galen) said rather loudly, "What the fuck was that?"

I mean, well basically, yeah, it is. Except that Dunston is played by David Leary in a gorilla suit, and HE NEEDS TO GET TO MARS

Elephant was a good movie, although slightly disturbing (of course). The thing I liked most was that it wasn't some Hollywood bullshit make of a school. It was a real high-school, or at least it seemed like what a real normal high-school would be like. Actually it reminded me of NHS in a way.
