I've said it before, I'll say it again. I think that places like myspace or livejournal or the phone aren't places I really enjoy being told "I love you" to. I mean, I've done it. Livejournal seems a little less.. teenage-gossipy-and-full-of-myspacer-ific-drama.etc.
It just feels so draining to have someone tell you they love you any where but in person. I mean, some people tell you every where.. which I think is something people need to tone down on because over-using the phrase may make it seem false or something. Say it when it matters. Show it when you can. Don't hold standards up too high for such things. Spontaneous + Rareness = Lovely romance.
Well, I like reading reviews because I can either totally agree with the author or think their opinion is total crap. Helps me form my own opinions about things.
Plus, Pitchfork has nifty interviews. Like the Joanna Newsom one.
True; Pitchfork has probably the widest range of reviews I've ever found. When I first found it, I thought it just reviewed indie music, but then I saw them reviewing Justin Timberlake's "Sexyback" and Shakira. It was funny...
Eh; I use reviews for that, but I also use them to help me find music or things I might like, and Pitchfork mislead me. They have a lot of really cool stuff, though, that I found to be pretty nifty. I was happy when they gave Yo La Tengo a nine out of ten, or something close to that. <3
I was not happy when they gave the new MUSE cd a two or four out of ten...

Eh. I read Pitchfork sometimes, but it can give really one-sided reviews, so I don't trust it that much.
