First off - a huge sigh of relief going out to my friends who were unfortunate enough to have to endure the wrath of Hurricane Dennis. Weather sucks, and I've said that since I first saw Willard Scott. *shiver

Love the song. Love the dream, too. I can't tell you what it means, but I looked up some of the symbols:

Buddha- wisdom, insight,compassion, and inner spirituality.
Beads- tendency to please others and put their needs in front of your own.
Inside a Mental Institution- a need for rest and resetting your mind
Friendly Celebrities-idealized version of someone you know.
Fair-suggest overcoming a minor obstacle.

Sorry to say there was nothing about historical gay pride festivals, but maybe this has helped.
If it makes you feel better, I once had a dream about the second amendment :-).

Some of the defintions do kinda help though, the enlightenment part and the friendly celebrities being a idealized version of my friends..yeah that kinda makes sense.
