Found your post journal surfing and felt compelled to reply.
Your journal is interesting - you write well, you get your point across in an eleqoent way. I also find the content of what you write about interesting.
As a recovering drug addict, I cannot rely on drugs to take me to spiritual places anymore. But that's okay, I've found music can do much the same. That's not the point, tho (forgive me, it was a LOOOOOONG day at work)....
Do you mind if I friend you, is what I'm getting at.
BTW - Tucson, eh? I grew up in Sierra Vista, nearly moved to Tucson a couple of years ago. Many of my friends moved to Tucson - it's a sort of refugee camp for Sierra Vista'ns! Oddly enough, Kansas City is where I wound up, however!
First off: Thank you very much for all of the compliments :) I am very flattered. Writing is something that I hold very dear to my heart.
I have a good friend who is very moved by music as well, so I understand where you are coming from with that.
I would be glad is you added me as a friend. I really love to share my writing with an audience. Tucson is a great place to live. It is so beautiful and has such a rich history. In fact I wrote a little story about it once, you could probably find it somewhere in the archives. Around 20 April 2005 I believe. Anyways, nice meeting you.
I find few ppl who get high for a purpose anymore. I have always felt driven to create, or to explore mentally, or to move (dance, exercise, random twitches ;) while high. I sometimes intend to sit and toke a bowl and take 1 or 2 puffs and start playing guitar and drift away with it, or into wild musings about reality, perception, universal concepts... the intracicies of anything. i'm naturally that way anyways tho, herb just enhances it. It's cool to see others utilising highness for expansion. the creativelyhigh community is vaguely interesting; you could post there as well for a wider audience.
the first high of the day is always the best. i try really hard not to smoke all day so that i can enjoy that awesome high at night, instead of smoking all day and then not being able to really get high at night.
