so. today. a day full of patriotism, rememberence, and reflection, made me think about a lot of things.

don't get me wrong.

i'm very very thankful for my freedom, and my rights that only americans have.

today made me remember why we sing the national anthem.

that was the good, patriotic half.

but then, in economics, we got to discussing:

somehow i can see that happening very easily.

i had this bet with mr. westveer that (before the 2004 election) two things would happen:
1. about a month before elections the gas prices would magically lower a considerable amount (this did happen)
and
2. they would find osama bin laden.

i was waiting for them to find him. the end of 2008? perhaps.
