So, my main fandom is a sci-fi show, and we are lucky enough to have conventions to meet up at. Those of you who were on com on Tuesday night might remember me drunkenly inviting all 5,000 of you to my house in January.

I'm from Minnesota, so I know I could do the drive. And I know there are some Minnesota girls who go here so we might be able to carpool. I would pretty much die if we went to Danny's church. I have winter break from like December 11 - January 10 so somewhere between there would be good for me. :) And even though I am almost 20, I would have to do a lot of convincing for my parents to let me go... I would totally love this though!

I know that both Partybench and Devon_carrots are from Minneapolis and are about your age. I am considering doing a Minneapolis weekend soon to meet some friends and would be happy to do a meet and greet with folks, LOL.

The drive is about 5 hours, nice and easy too.

Sadly during break I go back home to Michigan, which is... not terribly conveniently close, boo hiss, although if any other MI benches are going we could probably carpool it. And I would love to! I got all my crazy homework stuff out of the way this week so I'm pretty much free all weekend for, like, anything (boooo, boring friends without plans, boooo hiss etc). Anywhere in specific you know of that you'd like to hang?

Hm, if you don't have a car the easiest would be for you to get on the metra and head north to Kenosha. I am sure we can find something to to in Racine or Kenosha for a bit. Racine has a nice Zoo, lol.

One weird thing, I do have my little brother for the weekend. He's 7 and really well behaved - I'd probably have to bring him at all but I don't think that would impede us at all.

I am busy saturday night - maybe Sunday during the day would be best, my husband works.
