I am pimping out my best friends buisness so if you need make up or skin care hit her up I use the stuff and i like it. OH by the way mention my journal and get 30% off til 6:00 pm Thanks
today must be makeup day. I've heard like 4 things about makeup. Weird. Maybe the gods or allah or whatever are telling me I should trash my 8yr old pitiful excuse for a makeup collection?? seriously though, silver glittery eyeshadow is fine for job interviews, right?? ;)
heh.. one of those times, you heard about it, was probably in kansaschica's (aka gnomeygirl) journal. She and I are close, and she's pimping me out too!
As for the silvery glitter eyeshadow... uhm.. I don't know how old you are, but, my rule of thumb is that women over the age of about 33 shouldn't wear too much glittery stuff, because it gets in any lines that you might have, and REALLY shows them off!
Besides, I know you have a baby, at home. You deserve to splurge om mom a little!! :D
i'm 26 :) and yeah, gnomey is the coolest ever. It's been over 19m since I talked to her on the phone though :( The last time was the night before my son was born. lol.
I *never* wear makeup. like, ever. Everytime I go to wear some for whatever reason, I find myself throwing more stuff away because it's older than dirt. I have 2 classes of makeup (all of which fit into a tiny plastic bag thing) #1 - club makeup. Sparkles, silver and black eyeshadow, ect. #2 - interview wear. taupe eyeshadow, pale blush, mascara.
And I have about 6 lipsticks, which is the only thing I wear more than once every 6 months. heh.
I'm what you'd call a low-maintainance chick...most of the time ;)
One of the first people I was ever in a band with as a teenger, Matt Callazo, his mom did Mary Kay. My brother's wife does that home interiors stuff...............
We have a really strict "no animal testing" policy, that's been in place since the 70's or 80's. (I wouldn't sell it if it were tested on animals.) also, a portion of the proceeds from every order goes towards the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation, which has one numerous awards for their contributions to battered women shelters, women affected by "female cancers" (uterus, breast.. etc..), and now to help those people who were displaced by Hurricaine Katrina.
uhm.. no only that, but, it helps this certain single mom with three kids (who's ex is a deadbeat dad) whom Jim happens to think rocks. ;) (the mom, that is.. not the dad)
If you want.. why don't you give me a call, or something (317) 213-5005, and we can discuss what's best for your skin. If you want.. I can make a trip down there, and give you a facial (with no make up.. just skin care, if you prefer).. and that way you can try it out first. (no need to have a "party" if you don't want. I'll come just for you)
you know.. work is a 4 letter word.. but, not necessarily a bad one. There are those of us that like to keep busy.. and, if she's happy doing what she's doing (so long as she's not neglecting the things in life that are REALLY important) then more power to her! GO MOM!! :D

just curious....
I have really sensitive skin and most soap irritates my face, but I want something that isn't tested on animals.
