Blood and Water

I found Owen in the small sitting room sound asleep on the damp sofa. There were towels everywhere. He had obviously been trying to salvage whatever he could after the sprinkler incident. I knelt down beside him and brushed a strand of blond hair from his face, watching his eyes move beneath their lids in deep REM sleep. For a moment, I considered ( Read more... )

I was afraid you wouldn't come back.

And leave you all alone? Never. Besides, you managed to keep yourself entertained in my absence.

Armand, you will never be like Marius. But you will always have properties or habits that he has. Bathing, whipping, master&servant fan, ect

Extremely emotionally written...

Learned behavior, hm? That is something I still must think on.

I’m glad you came back to him. I was starting to worry for him.

I hope you’re doing well.

Oh and take care of that fish!

I'm fine, Owen is fine, the fish is gone and all is right in the world once again.

Thank god! I was getting ready to attempt orchestrating a removal myself!

Trust me when I say that it would have been a very unpleasant experience for you.

Preparing him for round 10?  Thank goodness he can take a beating eh?

You should leave him food next time you go off to play with Lestat.  Then Louis won't have to come over to break the locks and start fires.

Oh yeah and feed the poor fish will you.  Jeeze it's like you get past 100 and the memory starts going..might even develope vampire dementia.  Is there such a thing as a retirement home for vampires,I wonder?

As I've pointed out before, I am in absolute control of myself every time I touch Owen. If I wasn't, he'd be dead. I am well aware of my own strength.

He had food. There was an entire bluefin tuna in the freezer. Louis needs to learn to mind his own business.

I've seen many a vampire go mad with age, but I'm not there yet. Vampire retirement home, hm? Now, there's an idea.

You still bruise and cut him even if he can't feel any pain he can still sustain damage and get infections in opened wounds.  Cellulitis is nasty. I know I have had it and it's damned hard to get rid of once you get it.  It can also come back after it is gone.

Yes I heard about the tuna.  Thing is humans need more then just fish to eat.  We need vegetables and fruit and steak...throw him a nice tbone once in a while.  Some chicken.  Just not the whole cow I don't think Owen knows much about butchering.  Unless you have a butcher on staff and a chef.  It's one thing to kill the cow another thing to cut it up properly into manageable pieces that we can cook and eat.

Yes, but have you removed the fish?

The fish has been removed. Unfortunately, I had to see to that task myself as none of my mortal servants could lift the behemoth out of the freezer.

I’m sure someone could’ve cut that thing into pieces. Yeah, it’s big, and it’d be really messy (probably would smell even worse, too come to think of it) but it could be done with a big enough knife, an iorn stomach, and determination.

Pft. I would’ve given it a go, even if I can’t lift 300 pounds all at once. That goes double if you were going to pay me to do it.
