Title: Sleep is Overrated
Fandom: NewS
Pairing: Masuda/Tegoshi
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: Not mine.

A/N: For meli_29 , who wanted "University; smut/fluff". I hope you like it, dear!

Masuda wakes up to icy fingers sliding under the elastic of his pajama pants and warm breath on his cheek, and at first, he thinks he’s dreaming. It isn’t until he feels those same fingers tugging at the waist of his boxers that he realizes he’s not asleep, and he whines tiredly, reaching out to grab the hand before it can delve any deeper. “Yuya, I’m sleeping,”

He has an exam tomorrow morning, first thing, and it happens to be in one of his worst subjects. He needs a good grade to pass the class, and he’s not going to endanger his chances just because his overly affectionate roommate wants attention at three in the morning.

No matter how cute he looks when he pouts.

“But Massu,” Tegoshi coos, scooting up to nuzzle at Masuda’s cheek plaintively. “I’m cold.”

Masuda has the sudden urge to kick him out of the bed, recognizing that tone, knowing exactly what Tegoshi has in mind, and how slim his chances are of escaping. “That’s why your bunk has double blankets, remember?” It’s a half-hearted protest, and he doesn’t even bother to try and fight when he feels Tegoshi’s hands start to wander again, one going up the back of his shirt and the other playing with the tie strings of his pants.

“But Massu’s warm.” Tegoshi whines, and he sounds so honestly heartbroken at the idea of being turned away that Masuda knows he’s done for.

Groaning, he throws an arm out blindly, snatches the smaller boy by the waist and pulls him close. Tegoshi seems pleased, starts to pepper kisses down his jaw line, squirming against him in a way that’s entirely too pleasing.

“You’re the worst roommate ever,” Masuda complains, even as he works to remove the other’s shirt.

Tegoshi laughs, unbothered, and leans in for a kiss that he knows Masuda won’t deny him. Because Masuda can never deny him anything, as embarrassing as it is, and really, despite the late night disturbances and the possibility that he’ll have to repeat his economics class next semester because of it, he still doesn’t think he’d trade him for anything in the world.
