the classy "fuck you".

For someone who wastes so much time and energy hating me, you seem to be awfully interested in what I have to say. What are you planning to do, take every word out of context, twist it around, and use it against me later? Look, -----, I can't think of a single thing I've done to you in the past thirteen years. If I've done something to personally ( Read more... )

Greetings, love . . . and I am very much ashamed to say that no, I did not send my letter. Not yet, anyway. I'm being very stupid really, it's sitting on my dresser in a blank envelope, and I know it's awfully rude of me to promise something, even something that I'm sure isn't of a great significance to you, and not deliver promptly. And now, as I always do, I will produce a lame-but-somewhat valid excuse: my parents have been away, and I've only recently (Thursday afternoon, to be exact) come home m'self, and unfortunately, love, your letter was parted from its sender for quite some time! Now I will cease to excuse my rather inappropriate behavior, and I will send the darn thing right to you. I do, however, fear that after all this time (and buildup), you will be expecting something much better than what I could write. I ask you, friend, to forgive my (extreme) lack of punctuality and my handwritten ramblings. You are certainly a literary force to be reckoned with, dear, and I am afraid you will be disappointed after all these ( ... )

my deepest apologies, dear, just me being lazy and selfish. as i've promised easily a hundred times before (i mean it this one), i'll send it along soon. sooner than soon.

speaking of the postal service, you seem to quote them an awful lot. are they a band i should investigate? (and am i correct in believing tht they are a death cab side project? 'cause if that's true, then i want in.)

Yes!! I'm starting my senior year at a coastal New Jersey high school, much like Pineville, and deliberating over where to spend the next four years of my like (New York City, anyone?). Jessica is my (fictional) - and yes, I am aware of how truly pathetic that is - muse.

duly noted. thanks for the advice, love.

i'm actually considering nyu and barnard (yes, i realize barnard's part of columbia, but the reason i'm interested isn't solely because it was where jessica wound up. i swear.)
