Yay! More television from the Whoniverse! Also, I made a new friend and she came over to watch Doctor Who with me :) And I have another friend (who is also named Allison too!) who watches it, but she's not caught up yet so she didn't watch it with us. Anyways, my thoughts:

I really liked Esther, too. I think it would have become romantic, just because in such high stress situations like this, people bond in special ways and it would be difficult to move on to a life without somebody who would understand that experience. BUT SHE'S DEAD LOL OUT OF LUCK.
I enjoyed Miracle Day as a whole but I thought a lot of the finale was pretty cheesy and kind of lulzy when it wasn't supposed to be. I still don't really think they needed Oswald at all in this show? LOL.
And Gwen was awesome.

I will mourn the lost chance of Esther/Rex as I mourn Esther herself.
I dunno, I enjoyed it. It was a bit overdramatic sometimes, yeah, but it was still pretty intense, and it was fun. And Oswald... I dunno. He was pretty interesting at times. I dunno if his last comment was really necessary though. We get that he's gross guys, enough.
I really need to go back and watch the earlier seasons now that I've grown fond of Gwen.

I kept feeling like they wanted Oswald to be really important but that they couldn't make him an important character without humanizing him, and that they were too afraid to actually go there. They didn't want to make a child-murdering pedo sympathetic, and because of that he was kind of pointless. I don't see why they needed him to threaten to blow everybody up since Jack could have just stormed through there and then if they killed him their goal was accomplished anyway. LOL.

Yeah. And I feel like they'd try and humanize him or go deeper into his character and it would start to work, but then all of the other characters would just despise him, and it would be back to square one.
