Well. This episode was confusing. As soon as one question from last week's episode was answered, another one came up. I think this season is going to be a lot less episodic than previous seasons. ugh ARTHUR. him in the suit with the hair and glasses was just perfection.
the scene with the TARDIS slump is one of my favorites EVER. so far.
I do think Eleven is a much darker Doctor in some ways than Ten was. He isn't as forgiving.
I think 10 was darker in the beginning, well, from his regeneration. "no second chance. i'm that sort of a man." is what he said to the sycorax. i think that applied here. the silence have their chance to leave, like you said. they have more of an incentive to do so now though.
Rory/Doctor rome scene, I totally called him saying to 11, "So was I."
Everything you said about river/11 are my thoughts exactly. damn you moffat. damn you.

Yeah. I think the Doctor in general is a very dark character with a deceptively charming facade. The darkness just shows differently for different Doctors. I know some people don't think that was in character for him, but I disagree. He's done some pretty harsh things before, and he's never been afraid to pass judgment on a race before.

1 & 2. Yeah, I'm sure it all worked out somehow. Mainly I was curious about the prison bit. Seemed a little out there. I can just imagine Canton waving around his FBI card :) Or getting the President to come vouch for him ( ... )

5. I don't believe he's dead either. 7 was thought to be dead for a while (flatlining on the operating table) before he regenerated into 8. And I'm not very well versed in Classic who either, but in the movie, the master tries to steal them through the eye of harmony. it's also a plot point in "the forgotten" comic story.

9. Yeah, I don't either. I think they just wrote it that way to mislead the audience.
11. Haha yeah, that was a pretty crack theory, just thinkin.
12. That makes a lot of sense. Maybe she hadn't even forgotten yet. And the forgetting thing even relates to Rory disappearing, and Amy knowing even though she couldn't really remember. It all ties in with Moffat!
13. LOL a Doctor Who themed episode of "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" would be pretty much the funniest thing ever. Other than that, I dunno yet about the pregnancy thing. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
