My mom randomly emails me today saying she got a dog, a 6 week old rat terrier. The thing is so ugly it's cute.

omg, you're right. It is so ugly, it's cute. Is it seriously called a rat terrier, or is that what you're calling it? xD I hate little yappy twitchy dogs. I just want to step on them. :P

it's actually called a rat terrier. terrier's aren't terrible large dogs, but rat terriers are specifically bred so that they're smaller :/
my problem is that my mom, while probably the one who got it, is like a child and will more than likely force my younger brother to take care of it while she prances it around like paris hilton does with her dog.
and of course i'm bitter that patches has to deal with it, and i'm overprotective of my cat.

Lord, that dog is cute.
I'm not a big fan of little lap dogs, but the little face is very cute. :D

that thing is adorable. i love it. but im done with tiny dogs. i want to get a big dog once i really live on my own. aaand yeah, i feel like ur lil bro is gonna end up taking care of it.
and poor patches, shes gonna be very excited once u go home.

apparently now patches is okay with the puppy. my mom said when she left the house and came back they were sleeping in the same room at least. the puppy (lulu) is on a leash for now while she isn't house trained, so if patches hated her lulu wouldn't stand a chance.
