I might take CNA classes in May. This nursing home pays you to take the classes and hires right on the spot. Atleast this job would give me benefits and it's in demand. I'm not sure if I'll like it, but atleast it's another stepping stone. I never took the certification test for Medical Assisting, I still have time before it expires

I never took the test for medical assisting either lol and I am 2 classes away from finishing the nursing assistant class. I'll probably take the state certification soon after, but after taking this class and doing my clinical in a nursing home..I know now that I do NOT want to ever work in a nursing home. It's awful there. I really hope I can get a job in a hospital.. but good luck, i hope you take the class!

some lady I used to work with at Kiddie Kandids told me about that. I suck at Needle's though =[ well and I don't live there. lol

I don't think CNA's are allowed to give needles. Only the nurses do that, atleast at this place that I might go to doesn't allow the CNAs to give needles. Apparently if I go through with the classes I'm getting kicked outta my house. My mom doesn't want me to clean old people's diapers. It's just another headache I swear! This place offers full time with benefits and pays for you to go to school. That's what I was looking forward to. The job I have now will probably cut my hours in the summer. I just need to get outta here you know what I've been through over the years. I'm ready to move on and have my own life even if that means I cut my crazy family outta of it.
