Crowns for Convoy
I was pretty sure Obama would win and he did. Since I held this pessimistic view I was not let down come Wednesday morning.

Down the Tube
I had a severe problem with the USPS. The end result was me having to order another text book. The original one has been sitting in California for about a week. After 8-10 phone calls and a few hang ups (by USPS employees) I had to re-order it so I wouldn't fall behind in class.
I was a jerk to the employees but, it wasn't without provocation.

I love Orson Scott Card!
Orson Scott Card, one of my favorite sci-fi writers, wrote an article today that was just outstanding.
Now, it is important to know that Card is a card carrying democrat. Most of the time it can be assumed that science-fiction authors are democratic leaning but not all of them. Card on the other hand is a vocal supporter of the democrat party.

Just got back from St. Augustine this morning. Spent 5 minutes at home and left for Georgia.
We arrived at the hotel a few hours ago. Went out for a steak and tea.

Finished "The Iron Tree" just in time for my vacation.
I think it was the first book that I felt disconnected all the way through until the last 10 pages. Through most of the book the emotions of the characters were predictable, as well as their actions.
