we should really get together and try to open up a venue. something cheap but big enough for a decent size show. would anyone be down for something like that?

I've thought about the possibility of doing that. I just don't think that there's any way for all of us to maintain something like that collectively. People like you, me, Bobby, Jarrod, and Corey would end up getting shafted and have to do all the work and front all the cash. Then we'd end up in contract with shit like that. We wouldn't be able to pay the bands because we wouldn't make enough money. Plus, there are other places that are in competition that offer other services besides just shows(i.e. refreshments, etc...)

I just think it'd be a whole lotta work for not a whole lotta fun. You should ask Bobby though, I believe he's researched it a bit.

i dont think it would be too bad. and it would be a lot of fun. and if i were doing that i would book many shows with contracts. just run the place and let others do the shows. and we could do sodas and such. if we could find a decently priced place it shouldnt be too bad. it would be like that place reds or whatever it was.

i talked to gilbert, theres work in progress to get a new venue up and running, till then just remember that "great things come to those who wait"

i would be willing to help out as much as possible as far as working the door or wahtever i dont have money to give but i have time and time is of the essence!!!

someone mentioned doing a fundraiser for the station/enthos whatever the fuck it was called. the only reason its closed is becaus axis knocked down a wall when they were remodeling or something so whenever they would have shows it would take away axis's business or some shit like that.
