Bogus Journey-11/9/2008
First thing that happened is we got to Clutch Cargo's an hour early (5:00pm). There was hardly a line at first and it was freezing. I only brought a lightweight jacket and all Ashley had was a hoody. Plus, I really had to use the bathroom. So, we stood in the freezing cold for an hour. They opened the doors at 6:00.
We went straight for the bathroom, afterward we wandered, took pictures, wondered if beer was all they had until finally I asked and they ended up having soda, juice, and water. We walked over by the merch, but didn't buy anything. We sat down for a little bit.
Than Carolina Liar came on and they were amazing. It was our first time seeing them. We didn't get any pictures though. Followed by more wandering. Some of the guys from Carolina Liar were walking around after their performance and we wanted to stop and ask for pictures, but they seemed really busy, so we didn't. Chad walked by me a good three times. I said hey to him once and he said hey back with the most adorable smile. He seemed really nice. We wandered around some more. Ashley had a headace. She only had a burrito before we left. We went back down to the bathroom because I remembered they were selling candy. She got peanut m&m's a long with a coke. And her headace started to finally go away. We sat down again for a little while and than We The Kings came on and they were so freaking amazing!. We got a little closer for them and between the both of us we got some pictures, but not a lot. The lighting in the club wasn't the best and also the flashing disco lights didn't make it easy either.
The Academy Is...were next and we didn't want to lose our spot, so we didn't move. I had to use the restroom, so Ash stayed behind. I started to get a headace, so I bought some skittles and a coke. (All I ate before we came to the show were mozzerella sticks.) TAI was obviously amazing. William kind of demands attention while on stage. We couldn't get any pictures of Butch.
They performed a song that had never been played before. They wrote it a couple weeks ago. It's called "A Winter's Passing."
After TAI we went around to the parking lot and waited with a ton of other people. Actually to be quite honest, there wasn't that many, but enough to get pushed over by. So, we waited for anyone to come out and finally we saw Jack walking by with a bunch of pizza boxes taking them into the tour bus. Than he walked back out. At first we were just going to wait for him to walk by again, but than I walked over to see what some girls were screaming about and I saw him signing stuff, so I told Ash and we walked over there. I had to call for him because he was starting to walk back into the building. He was in a rush, so we asked if we could get a picture and he said yeah, so we took the pictures and let him be on his way. He was so nice.

Afterward, we walked back over and stood by WTK's tour bus. A few minutes later WTK's came out. Travis was being swamped by a bunch of people, so we walked over to Drew and got our picture with him first, than we saw Danny and Hunter. I asked Danny if he was cold and he said "Yeah, this is nothing like living in florida." and he was jumping up and down. It was amusing. After that we waited for poor Travis to not be so crowded and got our picture with him. They were all so nice and complaining about the wheather.

Afterward we walked over to TAI's bus and waited. Than a secuirty guard came over and started shouting to everybody and telling us to all go home or go around to the front of the building and wait for our ride. Everyone moved away from the bus, but still waited. A few minutes passed and William came out. Everyone launced over to him. We felt so bad because he said, "Move back please, so I don't feel claustrophobic." I was trying to get back as far as possible, but it was so freaking impossible when you had a bunch of people pushing me back. I was standing right next to William. He accidently hit me in the chin with his elbow, but he didn't notice. It didn't bother me any. I'm short, so it was bound to happen. Ashley was behind me a little ways, so I had to wait for her to get up next to me before we could take our pictures with him. He was the most adorable thing. He was so nice and so caring about his fans. A couple of people were standing in front of the door to the bus and he said, "I wouldn't stand by that door. You'll end up getting hit." I actually made a comment to myself about how precious he was.

After we got our pictures we walked over by the loading trailor to wait for our ride and we saw Tony. We said "What's up Tony?" He looked up and said. "Hey." Our ride got there ten or so minutes later. Nobody else from TAI came out. All and all it was an amazing night. When we were getting out pictures with WTK we heard Travis telling a fan that they were coming back to michigan/clutch cargo's (not exactly sure which one it was that he said) with The Maine, The Cab, and There for Tomorrow sometime in March, so we've already got plans on going to that concert for sure. I've been wanting to see The Maine and Ashley has been wanting to see The Cab and now it's vice versa. We want to see both bands.
