Just yesterday, I learned that my little sister knows nothing about the X-Men, other than what was portrayed in maybe the first movie or two. She has no idea who Gambit is! No idea!

The X-Men animated series is one of the top Saturday morning cartoons of all time. By episode two, you've got Beast in prison, Morph presumed dead, and Jubilee tortured off screen.

...And they still toned it down from the comic books. I still remember an incident where the Russians attack Magneto's island base with a submarine, and he crushes it like a tin can. That's because he's a bad guy. :-P
