waiting for 2009
I've been house-sitting next door while the neighbors are away to keep their dogs company and to feed their fish and bird. I have to spend the night here, and I feel much too weird to be sleeping on their beds so I'm taking over the gameroom couch. I feel strange here. Wow. And apparently, I study way more in pharmacy school than I ever did for my undergrad courses. BUT because I was so happy from passing my first semester, I bought a $180 dress and 2 Victoria Secret bras for myself. Ever since those purchases, I tell myself everyday that I deserved it. :) -
cold as fuck
i've been waking up with a sore neck for the past couple of days now. i keep hearing about sad things that have been going on, and i don't think i have prayed this much in my life. i pray that the people in my life will be safe and stay healthy. i pray that i can study productively and pass my classes because i've been a pretty shitty student ( Read more... ) -

summer 2008
it's not over because i have exactly 24 more days left. in those 24 days i'll have a week-long cruise aboard the Carnival Conquest, orientation for pharmacy school, and a few hours (emphasis on few) at work. at the beginning of summer, i was pretty disappointed that my hours were cut but it quickly turned out to be a blessing because it allowed ( Read more... ) -

so it's official, i got my acceptance letter to the University of Houston COLLEGE OF PHARMACY! i did 3 rounds of screaming and running around my house (luckily no one was at home). this is the best thing that has ever happened to me. my dreams are coming true, and i had no idea it was coming so soon!
i'm going to be a freaking pharmacist.

my fabulous friends, ben and liz, threw a celebration for me on my birthday that could NEVER be forgotten. it's really amazing. i didn't get to spend a lot of time with them at all this past semester but they never fail to make me feel really damn special. i got to spend my twentieth with a lovely group of people whom i've grown to love all of ( Read more... )
