I dont think it will even open here- and if it doesn't I will scream a whole lot out of anger- but then i will download an illegal copy until the day the DVD comes out and i can buy it for real *pouts*

Yeah its a pain in the toosh thats for sure.

It's mental though cos, sure it's filmed in the caribbean , but it's filmed in the CAYMAN islands, with half cayman, half british cast, and the cayman islands are actually a "British dependant territory"- all be it a self governing british overseas territory- and yet...they won't release it in Britain...

Err..pour quoi?

Seems silly to me is all. Britains the LAND of the Indie film- British films almost always ARE indie films with the occasional blockbuster films like "Stormbreaker" and "Harry Potter"- so why take it to limited release in America, and not even release it here? It's a no brainer- we have Indie cinemas littering this country JUST for films like this! lol. At least where I live we do.

oh hell yeah!! I mean, I'll be first in line to buy the dvd but that wont be until months later and *whines* I just can't wait that long!!!

Ditto!- I will never NOT buy the DVD for a film- ESPECIALLY Orlando ones- but really for any film- simply because I want to work for films and so I don't pirate films- but in my mind if they are keeping it from me and theres no way i CAN watch it- why can't i download it? If Im going to buy the DVD aswell- I should be allowed to download it.

Everyone knows how much i adore indie films like this- and I've waited over 2 years! I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER!!! lol

Is there a place where I can check out if it's going to be in the Netherlands too? I don't want to wait for the dvd for this one!

Well at the moment theres only a release date for it in America (limited release)- theres not even one for the U.K which tends to come second on the list.

I'll keep my ear to the ground- and if i can catch Frank when he's not busy- I'll ask him if he knows about it's release anywhere else- but it tends not to be in the directors hands where and when its released- thats the job of marketting and distribution. Perhaps if you could find a way to contact the YARI FILM GROUP- I'll look into it too but just see ig you can get in contact with them anywhere and appeal to them for it ;).

This is one movie I wanted to see with Orlando in it. And as you said, it sounds like my type of film. Can't wait! I won't be surprised if it never hits the screens here, though, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed :)
