somedays i wonder if god has a sense of humor.
right now, i truly think he does.
how is it that i go the complete opposite way of the life i wanted to leave behind
just to find that it's right here with just a couple differences?

week three at school.
and i finally feel at home.
i went back to gastonia this past weekend.
it didn't feel right anymore.
i felt anxious and stressed being there.
i missed boone within the hour of leaving.

i miss my family, no doubt.
but i don't miss what used to be there.
i don't miss the memories.
i don't miss the loss i felt there.

i wish my life was more interesting so i can update more often.
i started college this past week. it's been interesting so far.
met a couple new people. a couple new boys. =]
so far, i've still been sticking with ashbrook friends.
which i don't mind, they're fun.

i'm starting to realize that i will wind up being a professional student.

barely a month left.
my days consist of :
- 5 am wake up
- 8-2:55 stupidity
- 3-5 errands errands errands
- 6-10 work
- homework, bed, insomnia
i have far too much to do.
and far too little motivation.
i miss my friend.
but i've learned to live without.
my hair has become a daily mess.
sweatpants and t-shirts are amazing.
my new assets have taken over.

i know better than to try and take you with me.

a scorpion and a frog are standing by a small creek.
the scorpion needs to get to the other side but can't do it alone.
he asks the frog if he can help him get to the other side.
the frog says "no. i can't trust you. you're a scorpion."
the scorpion says "don't worry." and hops on the frog's back.
halfway across the creek, the scorpion stings the frog.
