What we see and experience is, as you say, a construct of the Mind. The Mind is trained by the environment (nurture), but the limitations of the physiognomy of the brain, the neurology, have a definite influence as well (nature).

Humans have languages, and through these we further delineate the capacities of our Sensorium. It has been said that Language is a Virus. It is also the basis of magic, because it allows for the codification of thought (a sort of operating system of Mind), and with the expansion of vocabulary we are able to communicate more intricately, and therefor to manipulate ourselves and our environments more completely.

This also makes us easier to delude, unfortunately. Science and Magic are the same coin... spend it wisely...

Come back soon...

i love the subjects of your comments. and the comments themselves, they should be posts instead, it beats what i originally had to say times a thousand.

Nah. I'm just moved by your thoughts (and that you bother to express them, and that they are of unusual subtlety), and spinning off my own...

I love the way that you write, I meant to say this quite a few posts ago but being self involved turns out to be time consuming ( ... )

heh scientologists.

thank you. i love the way that you reply to what i write.. i've came back (yes, with good experiences, but again i'll have to flee) and i'm reading how others have responded, not just in comment, to the types of thoughts i have constantly. if only i could describe them everytime like this. not only is my vocabulary limited but my attention span when typing something detailed out.

it'd just be easier if i could have a conversation with you

Perhaps someday we'll have a chance to speak in person?

I suspect your attention span is limited because there's always something else to think about or to pay attention to. It all just keeps on moving you know?

Eminitize the eschaton!

you live in Portland? i know so many people in the portland/seattle/that whole area, that i've been wanting to take a trip down there. i'd be able to see a lot of people, but i don't think that'll happen in the near future, unfortunately.
