I spent from thursday to today at my grandma's cottage in deltaville, VA. it was pretty good to get away from everything, and it was very relaxed there. well, for the most part anyways. i go back to work on tuesday... working 4 days this week, i suppose that's not too bad. money money money! lol. need to buy schoolbooks, need money. yeah. oh,

solution to chickflick problem: watch the movie with GIRLS. not alone, not with your guy. But with your girlfriends. :) Then you can enjoy the saccharine nature of the movie without it being "ruined" and you can commiserate with company as a group. The girls will appreciate the romanticness of it, and you aren't technically alone since you are watching it with friends, so "I miss him" thoughts or whatever can be curbed or ignored.

Thats how I tend to do it anyways.

yeah, but there's 2 problems with that. 1) i can rarely curb the "i miss him" thoughts, especially during the really romantic 'i love you i love you more' scenes. and 2) that requires having girl friends who aren't 2 hours away...the one downfall to college is that almost no one lives near me.
