Mac & iPhone questions

First the Mac question.  While I am hopefully still a few years away fron NEEDING to replace/upgrade my notebook, I am considering investigating more the Mac products.  My really important questions is if anyone is familiar with VMware Fusion to allow pc items and programs to run independent of the Mac OS on a separate partition.  Has anyone used

i am currently debating on purchasing the iphone 3g as well I have been to the Apple store and played around with it.... my only concern is the flat screen makes it very hard to type... so web stuff and texting are hard... I am anxious to see your responses!!!!

I have a Mogul, which has a pullout keyboard and I absolutely love it.

When texting, my friends cannot believe how fast I can type on it.

I have had it over a year now and I wouldn't think about replacing it.
