Time for blood

The thick tang of blood hangs in the air, crimson liquid splashed grotesquely across the snowy clearing. A dark-haired man lies in repose on the ground, black eyes staring blankly, pearly white skin marred by large bloody gashes and fresh burn marks. His throat gapes jaggedly, as if torn by sharp teeth. Intestines lie in the snow, steaming, pulled out of a stomach slashed open by claws. His legs are twisted awkwardly, white bone sticking out of flesh.
Next to him, another boy crouches, gnawing on something slimy and red. The boy has blond hair and catlike red eyes, whiskers like knives across his cheeks. More demon than boy, really - glistening fangs, wicked claws, the pulse of red chakra.
The blond boy glances up sharply at a soft rustle in the trees. He grins at the new arrival, the piece of flesh hanging from his too-wide mouth. This boy is almost identical to the one lying on the ground, except he is alive. Naruto swallows, opening his mouth to speak.
"Merry Christmas, Sasuke."
