i hate how people throw that hallow phrase around..i hate how people desicrate it..

it sickens me to hear people say i love you to someone they just met. it sickens me to hear people say i love you when theyve been dating for 1 or 2 or 3 months.. you cant love someone in such a short time..

its just not right

i disagree. i dont believe there is a set time for how long it takes to fall in love. you can fall in love in days, weeks, months or years. it's not fair to say that you cant love someone in such a short time.. it's just YOU who choses not too. Cause I have been with boys who I have only been with for like, 3 weeks, and I've felt like I've known them forever, and just because i fall in love soon, doesnt mean I dont mean it. But I have also been with boys for 3, 4 months, and never fallen in love with them. So, its all a matter of who you are and how you view things..

i love you amir! ;)

i don't think you can truly love someone until you know them entirely...until you get to know pretty much everything about them...you may love a side of someone in 3 weeks or 3 months but chances are you havent seen the other sides of them and met the rest of them..

dont forget, when people first meet, they put up a whole fake bullshit screen to make themselves look good or cool, to attract the other person and so they dont look bad..have you ever seen magnolia? they talk about it in that movie..but yes

my point is, you dont truly see a persons whole self until you've known them for a while..and until you know every side of a person and you know them well, i dont think you can judge or know if you love them

I also disagree! No, it's not good to throw that phrase around, but who are you to judge someone else's feelings? Just because you've never fallen in love after a month doesn't mean that other people haven't.

i wrote more in the comment above to laurie...

while i think its true to love a side of someone in a month, that is too soon to get to know every side of a person...and until you know a every side of a person well, i dont think you can love them...i'll copy/paste my previous comment here

Clearly amir was not judging anyone...he was merely stating his opinion...people fall in love too quickly though...that cannot be denied...97% of marriages in this country end in divorce...and while there is no set time as to when someone falls in love, and while you can feel like you have known someone forever, it doesnt mean that you do...you have to truly know all of someone to truly love them...and you cannot truly know all of a person for at least 3 months
