Since everyone else was making changes for the new year, I did some changes too. NEW LAYOUT!!!

I'm such a CSS noob that it took me hours to get the coding and everything down to how I like it. So here it is. Credits to minty_peach for the original layout coding.
I'm sorry if it blinds you...I was getting tired of working on it, so I left it as it is.
Anyway, to start out the new year, here are two drabbles for a short series I'll be working on. There will be more to come later with various pairings.
JE-Chibi cuteness [1/?]
Title: Magic tricks [Akira/Nobuta]
Words: 196
Warning: OOC, failed attempt at cute fluffiness
Showing the magic of foaming soymilk bubbles to a fat Shuji didn’t work out, because one, Akira wasn’t cool and two, Akira was a loser who didn’t have any friends. Shuuji thought it was weird and childish anyway, despite the fact that he was only a year older than Akira, who just turned seven this year.
So after getting pushed into the dirty ground by the fat Shuji and his group of popular friends, they all pointed and laughed at him, before running off to play tag.
Luckily, after sobbing by himself for a few minutes, Akira spots a lonely girl to play with. He found her hiding under the park slide, stroking through the fake hair of a doll.
When he approaches her, he tries to make out the name written on the front of her dirty white P.E. shirt before kissing his fingers,
“Kon-kon, Nobuta right? Wanna see something cool?”
Of course, she continues to ignore him until he plops himself next to her and forces her to hold the bottle for him so that he can blow into the straw.
This earns a half attempted smile from Nobuko and an unenthusiastic clap, “C-cool.”
Lollipop [Ryo/Sawajiri]

Warning: OOC, failed attempt at cute fluffiness
Erika is definitely not the princess-y type, because when Ryo is forced to introduce himself to her, she pushes him down, swipes his cherry lollipop and snickers at his scrawny form, “Tag, you’re it. Catch me, and you can have this back.” She puts the sugary sweet hard candy into her mouth and runs off giggling.
That was exactly why he didn’t want to approach her in the first place because Erika was a meanie. Ryo growls and chases after her, making sure to pounce at her when he got the chance, even if she was a girl...a few inches taller than him.
