I know that Andrew made a joke of it, (and thank god I didn't look at it, and heard it from my Mom), but Steve Irwin died, and I am heartbroken.

I just stopped crying... and I mean, yes, I am sensitive, but... the Croc Hunter?! How could this be?!

I'm sorry, Jen. I am truly sad that he is gone, and I didn't mean for it to sound disrespectful or sound like I didn't care.
I really don't know what to say, I just don't want to seem insensitive. It was quite a shock to hear about it. Someone in one of my chats posted a link to his wikipedia, with his date of death being today. This was posted last night, and none of us thought about the fact that in australia, it was already the 4th. We figured that it was a prank (considering with wikipedia anybody can edit the entries). Then the CNN report came out half an hour later.
I watched his show a lot too, it was always fun. It's hard to believe that we won't see him doing that anymore.

Yeah, it probably wasn't the best time to make the joke, considering it had just happened, and for that I'm sorry.
I was thinking "Oh great, now Jen probably thinks I'm a ninsensitive prick", but then I realized "she has a right to be mad."
BTW, I deleted that entry.
