Getting Fred and Cordelia away from Angel and the others had been easier than I'd thought it would be. We'd been able to walk into the hotel from the basement and grab and drug them,all while Angel and the other two had been out. They'd probably been off on a case ( Read more... )

It felt too easy to do this. They hadn't even realized that there was anything different about me until Lilah grabbed one of them. Then the looks on their faces were priceless. This was almost too much fun. I had no idea that I would take to being evil this easily.

Now, I was sitting in a chair in front of the two of them, waiting for at least one of them to wake up. I wanted to wait until they woke up naturally, but I was starting to lose my patience. I was thinking of grabbing a bucket of ice water when I saw Fred start to stir.

When she slowly opened her eyes and looked at me, I smiled at her and said, "Good morning, Winnifred."

I had decided to let Wes stay down in the basement and play while I stayed upstairs and worked on making sure that we had all the legit paperwork and such so that no one got suspicious about us. The last thing we needed was the police or someone else finding something wrong.

Fred looked at him still shocked at how normal he seemed. "Wesley.." She tugeed on the chains then glanced over at Cordy. "Please just let us go.." She wanted to ask what had happened to him, but decided against it.

I wished that Lilah could be down here to enjoy this, but she was upstairs doing paperwork. I'm sure that she'll be able to come down at some point, though.

I stood up and walked over to Fred. I pushed a stray hair out of her face. "I'm sorry, but I just can't do that, Freddie. If I did that, you would just run away and tell exactly where we are, and I just can't have that, now can I?"

Fred tried to move away from him,but she was still chained to the wall so she couldn't move much. She looked at him. "What happened?" She asked wondering how or when it was that he became so cold hearted. She wasn't fully convienced that it was because of his becoming a vampire. In fact as far as Fred was concerned there was still some small part of Wesley inside.
