Things Start to Fall Apart

After only spending a few days in Italy, we were once again on the move. One would think that Angelus was on the run from something, or even someone. I remember thinking how strange it was that we had skipped over all his and my old acquaintances in Sunnydale, and now he was acting as if someone was on his trail? It was very curious ( Read more... )

It wasn't long before we left Italy. Wes seemed to think that Angelus was running from something or someone. I wasn't convinced that it was anything like that, I think that Angelus was just bored. He does seem to have a short attention span. Now we're in Madrid, which is lovely really, and there's so much to do, and eat. I can't help, but notice Wes' quietly seething though, from what 'daddy' did. I can tell that he's not mad at me though, which is a plus.

I finished unpacking and went to find Wes to go out for the night.

I had just finished dressing for the night, wearing a blue silk shirt and a pair of black slacks. Thinking on it, I remember Cordelia buying me this shirt. She said something about it bringing out my eyes and that I shouldn't wear those 'stuffy' suits all the time. I grinned at the thought.

I turned when I heard Lilah come into the room. "Are you ready to go out for the night?"

I walked into the room just in time to see Wes attempting to fix his hair. He was standing in front of the mirror. "What're you trying to do? Yeah I'm ready. Angelus is already off doing.. well I'm not sure what exactly."

"Sorry Lilah, but not all of us wake up in the evenings perfectly groomed like some people I know." It's not like I can look in the mirror to try and make myself look decent, either, with no reflection and all. I think Angelus's hair fanaticism passed on through Lilah to me.

Speaking of Angelus... "Our darling father figure has wandered off for the evening?" Not too shocking.
