Visiting Sunnydale

Feb 27, 2008 21:38

It was strange being back in Sunnydale again. I hadn't set foot there since I had been fired from the Council, which I would love to visit and pay a visit to my father as well. However, it was even stranger being in Sunnydale since it was deserted. There wasn't a soul here, other than the Slayer and her little friends. I was even a little surprised ( Read more... )

Who knew that potential slayer's blood packed so much of a punch. I was still riding out the fantastic high of it,lying on the bed in our hotel room. I laid there watching Wes get frustrated with Miss Summers. I smiled when he tossed the glass of ice water at her. I was even more amused when it actually worked.

Buffy couldn't believe that this was happening to her. As if dealing with the first wasn't enough, now she had been kidnapped by freakin' Wesley, of all the people in the universe. Of course, now he was a vampire, but he was still the bumbling Watcher in her eyes. She had thought she could get away until some woman came out of nowhere and clobbered her in the head with a rock. Now she could see that they had taken her to a hotel room...somewhere, and that it was daylight. She could see the sun peaking out from behind one of the blankets they had used to put over the window. The woman was laying on the extra bed, and Wesley was standing over her, holding a glass of what had probably been the water that had woken her up. "Wesley? What the hell is going on here? Where the hell do you get off..." A hard smack to the face silenced her quick. I slapped her as hard as I could. It wasn't like I could take her head off, with her being a Slayer and all. "Listen, Buffy, and listen good. I'm trying to deliver you in one piece, but, if you scream ( ... )

I smirked watching Wes with Buffy, it was clear that she thought he was still the same guy she knew, minus the vampire part of course. It was also obvious that she didn't have a damn clue who I was, which suits me just fine. When Wes started to get pissed off at her and started throwing around threats like he'd worked for Wolfram and Hart for years.

I looked at him with a small smile. "Wes sweetie calm down." Can't let her know that she's getting to him.

Buffy reeled from the slap, rolling from on her back to her side. She didn't realize that Wesley would pack such a punch. Still, she shook it off and rolled back over. Alright, so no yelling. She could get her point across without yelling. "I don't have time for this. I've got a world to save, so...if you could just untie me, I'll be on my way and let you two live. Ok?"I nodded to Lilah when she told me to calm down. I took a deep breath that I technically didn't need. Still, it was a calming gesture. I almost laughed at Buffy when she told me to untie her and she'll let us live. I managed to hold it in with a smile. "Oh...alright. Let me just go get my knife and untie you then, if you've got a world to save." I rolled my eyes. "If it were really that simple, then I would be an idiot." I felt like slapping her again, but I managed to reel in my impulses this time. I'd rather give her to Angelus in as mint condition as possible. Maybe I'll even put her in a box and wrap it in a bow. I hope I remember to poke holes in it for her to ( ... )
