Angelus seemed to get the message. I kept him on his toes by doing simple things like feeding Buffy and occasionally paying attention to her, and he remembered to leave Lilah the hell alone. When Wes told me about Buffy's little group trying to locate her I wasn't thrilled at all. It was around night time when he told me. "Does Angelus know about this? And how long do we have before her little crack team finds us?" I asked him.

"I haven't seen him today, so I haven't had the chance to tell him," I told her. "They only know that *Angelus* is in England. As far as my sources can tell, they don't even know that we're involved." Why should they? We killed to two little potentials with her.

"Besides, this place is warded against little witches using beacons. She won't be able to trace it exactly here, at any rate. They'll probably think she's over in London."

I nodded when he said that he hadn't seen Angelus yet today. "Well at least they think that he's alone here with her, and that the witch can't detect us." I smiled and kissed him.

I kissed her back. "I took care of that," I told her. While I may not be as powerful as Willow, I've learned plenty of things over the years that she has yet to even think of. Raw power doesn't always make up for knowledge, and I have plenty of that.

"We'll take care of this, but we'll have to be careful for a while." Which somehow meant that we needed to explain this to Mr. Bull in a China Shop himself the art of subtlety.
